Thousands of separatists offered Friday prayers at the sprawling idgah grounds in summer capital Srinagar shouting slogans of 'azadi' (independence) from India.
Interestingly there were no speeches but Mirwaiz Moulvi Umar Farooq announced that an even larger rally would be taken to the city centre, Lal Chowk on Monday for a sit-in dharna, while complete shut down would be observed on Saturday and Sunday.
This was the fourth march called by the separatists during the past 12 days, shouting pro-independence and pro-islamic slogans. The Government of India seems to be a mute spectator to these separatist activities, for the sake of the "islamic vote bank" in rest of India. In fact, the authorities decided to allow the march, and the security forces had been ordered to 'exercise maximum restraint'.
The separatist muslims are getting more and more aggressive and the Government is getting softer and softer. This will end-up in 1948-like situation and the muslims will march towards adjoining districts of Jammu, capture it and we will have some Nehru-like leader going to United Nations once again and then a Shimla agreement and bla bla bla.
The rest of India needs to come out and support the Jammu Brothers, Sisters and Children.
Arise, Awake and Stop not till the goal is reached.
